Fuel scam

So let me get this straight.

Mega carrier negotiates fuel prices for let’s say $2 a gallon

Truck stop sells the fuel to leased on carrier for $2.50 a gallon while advertised price is $3.00 a gallon and gives a kick back to the mega carrier $0.50 per gallon?


Just like drug makers giving kick backs to doctors who prescribe them?

Just like frys electronics hoping you lose your refund receipt so don’t have to give you the money back? (If you ever did a return at frys electronics you would know what I mean)

Don’t think that’s illegal.
