If I remember correctly, I think pilot/fj and sapp bros(there’s one right by Denver and Omaha yards). If you need fuel elsewhere I think you just call in and they temporarily open up card. I’ve fueled at mom n pop places in a pinch and just got an efs check for it. No apu, just idle. When I was first there some of the trucks had idle shut down but I’m pretty sure they got rid of that. My last truck(a 2018) had no shut down. They have pretty massive inverters and come with TVs and directv. With the truck running I’d have no issue watching tv, and cooking with a few electric items.

I just started orientation with Denney today. Seems like a good company, I’ve been hauling cattle and ag stuff for the last few years, so this is going to be a big change, but if the money is good, it’ll be worth it.

Jwilliams did livestock slow way down? I would think hauling ag and live stock would pay a little better?

The ag stuff, rates are way down, too many trucks doing it where I’m from, cattle the same way.

I think you'll like those Volvo's. Read the manual on how to work the engine brake. It's beautiful. Like playing a piano duet with a partner who really knows what they're doing.
Especially running I70 over the rockies.
I've been by Denney's yard in Commerce City. I drove out of that big mill close to them.

It’s going to be new to me for sure. I’ve always driven 379 Pete’s, 18 speed transmission, it’s going to take some getting used to.

That 379 is one truck I've never driven. Hear they're super sweet. Would love to give one a try.
Volvo does their electronics right. Not that there aren't ever any problems. But it's done right.
    Pete 579 has awful electronics.
In general, you'll find there's less stress driving a Volvo. It works with you.
