Where is everyone #5

Ok cool, so you got your bonafides. 1 truck stop ended a future career? I've been to truck stops that were so nice that the showers felt like a luxury spa. Just seems like a silly reason to walk away.

 

Ok, so I'm nearly 100 pages behind yet, and since the bickering started 10 or 20 pages ago, I decided to just do a fast skim and look at pics... Thanks for that?

Where am I? Sitting at home on day #4 in my sweatpants not doing a ###### thing, Was going to tackle pulling the axle hangers off my trailer and plating the frame, but decided to just sit here and trailer shop instead. I finally got it narrowed down to a Mac, East, and Extreme. Waiting to hear back from Extreme and Mac on a couple changes, but have to say, I'm leaning toward East - my only hangup is the strap clip things you have to use with the double winch tracks. Ok, back to page surfing.

 

Agreed, the heat in the midwest is ridiculous. I left IL a few days back. Wasn't quite that hot but close. It was 97 around noon at home when I parked my truck. We aren't used to that foolishness in Ohio. Just remember, climate change isn't real

 

I'm just not backed into a corner like most noobs that want to enter into the industry. I'll do it because I want to, not because I only have $5 to my name and am desperate enough to settle for anything that will put a nickle in my pocket.

 

Well, you're in a good spot then. Just don't let one random bad experience taint your vision. It's just one stop man. Been to some horrible places because I had no choice. But there are some killer places out here to park that'll make you wonder why you ever had any other job than this. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
