The blower has its own capicitor under the bunk. It's the green dot labeled one. Do you have an extension cord under your bunk? See if you can plug any thing into that. Def not your gen if you can get that going. My guess is you popped the 30 amp breaker on that firewall with the vacuum

Possible with low heat. But high heat kicks out all 30 amp breaker function. Your hotel GFI plug.

Actually, The truck ignition was off, and so was the APU. I just plugged the Vacuum in and it worked for a fraction of a second then stopped. Later, I ran the APU and the blower didn't work. The Motor ran fine.

I figured I’d just check here instead of starting a new thread. Apu runs fine but stays on trip. Fault lights in the unit case are sol hold and alt power. I cannot for the life of me find the breaker for reset. The two Fuses on the top back wall are good. Does anyone have a pic of where the breaker reset is? Is it possible I don’t have a breaker reset?

Breakers are on the firewall of the Apu. Take a 1/2 wrench or socket remove the top cover for the Apu. Not just the diamond plate. Looking at where the unit is bolted to your frame, scan down that back wall and you'll see 2 red buttons, reset your breaker.

Well.. I took the top and bottom off and looked along the area where it is bolted to the frame and found no reset button. I did find a red button (looked like a reset) below the area of the alternator but it wouldn't push in to reset. I also looked at the fuse above the control unit and it was good.

On the inside under the bunk I removed the covers. I only have 1 green light blinking on the input and no amber lights at all on the output.

The apu starts, but when I hit heat/fan/ac it goes back to the home screen. It did work fine last week and then started giving me problems. The outlet in the front of the bunk no longer has a green light and I have tried hitting the reset there too..

This is a comfort pro apu and I've searched online but have not had any luck! I think it is something simple that I'm just not seeing. I haven't given up yet - just taking a break and getting warm inside

I just pulled the top half of the housing off of mine but the only breaker on that thing is by the generator. When I had the truck at the KW dealer for repair (due to it de-rating to limp mode randomly without warning) they disabled the APU so it wouldn’t kick on. I then went to get back into the truck the APU wouldn’t work at all... screen on controller was dead, the whole thing. I had the mechanics who worked on it come out and look at it, they checked every fuse and connection at the battery, whatever they had supposedly disconnected. All of a sudden the thing kicked on the starting sequence, tried to fire several times and finally ran. Unfortunately the hvac system was out and the display (which came back on) was showing the lighting bolt with the word “off” over it while it was running. Tried clicking the breaker underneath the generator, nothing. Wound up having to idle the truck for the last few days, and eventually the APU screen went dark again.
