Caution - vehicle makes wide right turns

Well that’s a quick check!

 

We were hauling gravel on the base a few years ago and one of the MP's tried to squeeze by and got crunched by a side dump. lol

 

Dear mom and dad,

You would be so proud of me because today I learned two basic principles of physics, and one rule of common sense.

1. Large vehicles require more space in which to maneuver.

2. One cannot occupy the same space at the same time with a tractor trailer without serious consequences.

And the common sense rule I learned is that just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should. More specifically, just because you're driving a fast and agile car doesn't mean you can always get around a pesky tractor trailer when you want to.

God the comment section on that story really shows u the stupid world we live in

 

Looks like the driver was paying attention to his mirrors. To only have done as little damage as has been done. Kudos.

 

This happened to me and no tickets were issued to me and Great West insurance decided to pay out on a claim in an exchanged for a signed agreement that the driver would not sue.

Then Great West cancelled me

 

When I catch one trying that, I will go ahead and take off, like I am turning, but stop within inches of hitting them.
I do the same thing on the log road when some nitwit meeting me stops. I get as close as possible before stopping.
