Yet there’s nothing against a non-commercial driver from going non-stop in a private vehicle for days at a time. This includes class A RVs. Fascinating isn’t it?

I suspect that has to do with the fact that driving a personal vehicle isn’t a federally regulated industry.Intothesunset, D.Tibbitt, mustang190 and 1 other person Thank this.

There is at least one exception. You cannot complete a brake inspection without taking the truck to 5 MPH and stopping it with the service brakes.
As for utilization of PC status, lots of large companies allow it. If they were not legally allowed to do so, they would not expose themselves to the legal jeopardy.Intothesunset Thanks this. -
