$100 wont hit his pocket on your conscience.

Someone definitely will. I won’t haul their cheap freight especially after they tell me one price then change it. I would have had to deadhead 120 miles from the drop to get a backhaul anyway, so losing $100 makes it pointless.

 

Well - I threw 3cents in that pool.

I've been reduced to a car mechanic today. Not my favorite thing but it saves me a little money and I know it will be done correctly.

 

And not being a Richard Cranium, but I wouldn’t have bothered at the $850 either, unless they loaded and secured it, offered me lunch and a truck wash on site.

Market correction is definitely needed right now.

I was gritting my teeth at $850. The way the market has gone to hell in my area recently that where everything is. Too many trucks around here, and not enough freight. Just sitting back waiting for them to go out of business when they can’t afford their new truck and trailer on the $1.50 freight.
