I always like the way people come to truckers for legal advice. It reminds me of furniture shopping at Burger King.

She got some very good advice, I think. At least from some of us.

Yeah this is an interesting case I'm sure some lawyer would be happy to defend you as the circumstances may warrant some kind of leniency hopefully they will have a good repport with the DPP and you may get the charges dropped or reduced, as in all cases its not what you know but what you can prove so the onus will be on the DPP to prove the charge and the onus on your public defender to disprove the charge, the most convincing will win. So my thought on this, is it drink driving if one is sitting in a parked car consuming alcohol? Driving does mean to drive doesn't it? A parked car is not a car being driven. Would the DPP need to prove you had the intent to drive? having the keys does not necessarily prove intent. I still think a good lawyer can get you off the hook, I guess in the future its best not to consume alcohol in your car.

I’m not sure of the this state but case law should already have proven that.

In California it is entirely possible to be decently employed with plenty of money to eat and pay for gas, but have zero chance to buy or rent a home. Seriously. The CA housing market is insane.

    Especially after several months.
It is some bad circumstances that would keep gal living on the street that long, just hard for me to belive the circumstances, could be anybodys making but her own. A few days a week I can see but months, we are not getting the whole story..

TROOPER to TRUCKER and COBB2070 Thank this.
