If a guy needs one and is in or passing through oregon, why would he not buy it there. We do not have sales tax, and I like looking at a price on anything and knowing that is what it is going to cost me at the register. I am so used to it I want to argue with them when I pay for something when I go out of state. lol

It would cost about $30 more in Washington. I pay that state enough already.

I use a garmin. I dont have the great big one, though, I dont see the sense in covering half my windshield. They should make the camera version in the small screen

    Midnightrider909 Thanks this.

I used a 730 for 3 years and loved it, WHEN IT WORKED.

Tried the Garmin for a while but didn't like the software compared to RM, even though it was built much better. I bought a 740 about a year ago and love it. It hasn't glitched or freaked out a single time. It's worked flawlessly. I keep the Garmin for a back up just in case, but haven't needed it yet.

I use Google maps along with my Rand McNally
atlas. Never had had an issue.

I often will put it into satellite mode so I can exactly where entrances are.

If you get a Rand McNally make sure to take it away from the sun when you’re parked on a hot day it messes with the gps had two of mine I had to send back because it fried in the Arizona heat forgot to take it off the windshield and since I drive nights it took a full blast of sun no ac on the front of the truck while I’m sleeping apu only does sleeper vents.

That's true for any electronics, especially cell phones. The batteries can overheat quickly. Some days I have to take my cell phone out of the holder while I'm driving because the sun gets it too hot.
