I live in a wild place where outlaws walk free that you protected folk dont know about. If youve never seen a neighbor burned out over a dispute, dont tell me you know. Ive watched 3 homes burn to the ground the past 2 years. A guy has my name and address and i am not giving him reason to retaliate toward my children just to satisfy TTRs lust for info on command.

Moral of the story is look at the equipment and decide to be man enough to say no if its gonna risk lives. I already sacrificed myself an income and now some of you people want me to risk more to satisfy your whims? Shame on you! Go expose your own family. If this was a waste of your time stay off the internet because 90% of it is less qualitative that what i just posted here.

Its sad when you cant even try to help people without the mob looking for a line of attack. The same folks who complain theres no good helpful people left out there.

Dear lynch mob, Its your own fault. You ran them off.

I agree. I drove the truck 30 mins to see if the rest of it was worthy, then called to see if he would invest the money in fixing the front correctly. No hard feelings, trucks wear out.
It quickly devolved into a childish man telling me the front end was fine, changing his story and arguing semantics instead of trying to fix the issue at hand and make money. On that behavior, i decided im not gonna work for him even if he does fix it.

Theres a million of these people out there and naming one wont fix a thing, alexander winton puts out a list every week. Each of us needs to know how to identify that coercive used car salesman behavior type and stand firm against it.

The issue is steering new drivers away from the “slimeball” in question. That is why this site was founded in the first place, which is to OUR answer to the DAC report.

Any company that will fire a driver for not running on bad steer tires deserves not only to be exposed, but to go out of business.

Sir, we are not here to beat on you. That's not intent.

I offer you this thought. I come from Baltimore which is VERY violent now and really unacceptable to me. Where I live here you hear birds in the morning, evening and none of that rolling low packing heat gangsta stupid stuff. NONE. (There is some but they know enough to keep it in Little Rock.)

Even more important to me the people left behind there willfully do not know their history where there would be no America if their fathers 7 generations back did not assemble and make war as best as they could when no one else would. There is a reason for Carroll's Beliefs and Howards Warlike thinking enshrined in the Maryland flag today.

If you are worried about being burned out where you live, move. This is a absolutely free Country, if you cannot abide a problem where you are, then move to where there is none of that silly burning people out talk. Don't worry our dear neighbors here in the south have their ways. But burning is out.

I say no all the time. Part of the reason I love being a trucker is that you are in such demand people have to kiss your ### .

I believe that you have hit the nail on the head here.

For whatever reason, I am sensitive to and rebel immediately against this behavior when it is directed towards me. Always have. And you know what? The moment the offending party realizes that their tactics won't work, they move on to another target.

They are not going to waste time and energy with someone who will stand in front of them and never give an inch, provided the following to be true and I quote Davy Crockett: "First, make sure you are right, then go ahead."

Many people are wired to avoid these type of interactions and their reticence is what is preyed upon. Meanwhile, I'm mostly left alone because of the initial resistance I put up. We are the ones who teach others how they get to treat us.

I'm no better than anyone else, believe me. We just have different challenges to work through sometimes.
