So there I was, cruising down the highway, come to an on ramp where some lady in a minivan was getting on. I had cars to the left of me, so I couldnt get over. Lady must of hesitated when it came to speeding up to merge cause I seen her apply her brakes pretty deliberately.
Anyways, I guess she didn't like that I was in her way and she proceeded to speed around to the front of me, flip me off and starts trying to brake check me. Speed up, slam on brakes, you know how they do it.
Anyways, at this time my left is clear, so I could of gotten over and tried to get around her. However, I didn't. I took the next off ramp, pulled into a dirt lot, got out smoked a cigerette.
When I got back on the freeway my nerves were settled and the lady was long gone to never be seen again.

How would you guys of dealt with this?

I call 'em in as an appearent drunk driver ... Weaving in and out of traffic, randomly braking, speeding up and slowing down.

The way I handle it is to back way off and don’t react at all and continue on my way.
The whole intent of doing what they do is to get a reaction out of you.
When you deny them a reaction from you they get bored and leave you alone.

This works very well. Especially when you tell the 911 disp. you’re in a t/t hauling haz-mat. All of a sudden they take you very serious.

I have done that as well. Usually I get off and then back on again. Sometimes I do it to get away from a stinky truck in front of me.

Brake checking me just gives me time to write down the plate number and call it in as a road rage.

So I do. After I empty the air horn.
