What the hell did I do to you, or if I am blocked to him somebody. I know I haven't been a supertrucker to him.

 

Snarky or downright offensive forum behavior is not uncommon. In fact the community here is better than most.

At least the mod team here don't get into arguments with the members, then edit the posts of the people they are arguing with so they can 'win' an argument. I had that happen on the trucking truth forums when I caught the owner, Brett, spouting ######## and called him on it.

 

Well I have not been snarky with him, but I got a message from him that might be called snarky.

 

You will learn who you can get info from and who just wants to call you and idiot because they have done it all a million times better than you ever could. 50/50 is probably not too far off. You will learn the ones that don't have any good info for you so you can just not even bother with giving them any time or effort because nothing you can say will ever be right to them. You got more years in than some of that crew too, just remember that.

 

I think that's just the "internet" nowadays. There were loads of in depth respectful conversations on the net in the 90's. Around 98 you started to see "You're an Idiot" posts and it just kinda snowballed from there.

I'm guilty of throwing the "you're an Idiot" card around too.

50/50 is probably a conservative figure. I think you are an optimist.

 

I post as much here anymore as I do in my FB groups, which I never thought would happen. Some of the threads are pretty good and the report a bad company forum is free entertainment
