Glider Kit woes

    Special order. At the time you could still get one by ordering it in a glider chassis. However Since Paccar is officially done with building glider chassis. Its pretty much no way in getting one now.

    They did that with the W900A's too. Last year for them was 1982 but I believe they offered it in glider form until 1984.

    Interesting, I know they made a few A models with the b style headlights, but they were not gliders. I read one time the reason, seems like it started out with a big special order from one company, but I know they sold some else where. I know where a very nice on is, and it is still a good looking truck.

    Kenmex (Kenworth of Mexico) did that for a few years I believe.
