I just looked and Costco lists their version of the Drive Wear lenses for $170 for a pair, and they are available in progressives, for us old farts that can't read the gauges otherwise....

$170 sounds pretty cheap to me.

My last pair I ordered. Cost $565. And not only did they never show up. But when I dropped my frames off for the installation. They got lost in a shootout that started as I walked out the mall doors. $1100 gone.

Police still seek 7-8 more suspects in Fashion Place Mall shooting

Dispute with the bank was no good either.

I’m guessing the $170 was his share after insurance.
I’m going to have to look into those when I get new glasses.

    All the time.

Just general night driving, fog, rain ...they remove glare and give depth perception

I don't think so, I check with Costco and It will cost me $110 bucks for the Drivewear with my Presciption plus the cost of the actual frames. So I will be looking at $200 to $250 for the whole thing. No insurance needed. Not sure what insurances Costco works with. I currently don't have Eye Insurance so I will have to pay that out of pocket but it is not so bad considering.

Yea, I have those too. lol
I am in the middle of cataract surgery right now, get the other eye done next monday, and may not even need glasses, but I want to get the best available if I do. I had an owner op worked for me several years back, all he did was run back and forth th Alaska and he got some yellow prescription glasses, and liked them.
