Stupid is as stupid does. It is one of the reasons when you are on your ten your not supposed to be working. Rested one doesnt make foolish decisions

Standard forklift isn't going to lift a max loaded trailer anyway. I've seen it done with two but I don't think our trailer had near 45k in it.

If it was a tanker, I'd ask you to get a picture of the driver to see if it's the same idiot I saw in Decatur a couple weeks ago.

BTW, I know someone who works for Denver 9-1-1. A little slice of that TA on the south side of the lot is in Denver, so they get calls from there (which they always try to push off to Adams County / Commerce City). Apparently they get a lot of calls from that TA.

All of the truck stops in Denver suck. They all have security for a reason, and it isn't always the homeless people causing trouble. A lot of times it's the drivers, sad to say.

I actually did the same thing a few years ago, but the only damage done was the king pit took out one of my new drive tires.
I was in the back of the truckstop hooking on to a trailer that the wrecker company had dropped, they had hired me to run it up to Albuquerque, and while I was hooking up some bum came carying a duffel bag and started messing with me. I told him I was busy and just get away from me. When I started hooking up the gladhands, it had some sort of oddball gladhand on it, so I walked to the shop and gt a new one, and put it on. While I was doing that the wrecker co showed up with the bum, he was the diver and they wanted me to take him with me. lol
I had checked my fifth wheel when I hooked up and I didn't think to check it again and pulled out. On the end of the ow I turned and watched the trailer in the mirror try to go straight, I ask the driver if he had pulled my fifth wheel and he admitted he did. I have no clue how he got to Albuquerque.
Since then Even after checking, I do a rolling tug test every time.

Well, of course! Out there, the truck drivers are the only ones not---shall we say?----"mellowed by the leaf"......
