Oh definitely the Pete then, hands down.
201 Thanks this. -
How come only 1 has a 500,000 mile warranty?
-

They call it Encore.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -

From a business man's perspective, this isn't even a hard choice.
Which has the lowest cost of operation?
Which can be serviced just about anywhere?
Paccar doesn't offer that kind of warranty like shaker does. And the Encore is for the engine and after treatment, that's it.
Funny thing about truck driving, I cross paths with probably a 1,000 or more of them a day, and couldn't begin to tell you what even one driver looks like.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

The pete.
Forget the freightliner. Shes too runt. (Its nice but eh....)
KW needs some reworking on that frame back there ugh. It's nice but its the Pete for me in the end despite the automatic.
If I was loaded with it reaching to shift upgrade and auto shifts correctly and on time then it's all good. If the auto does not do it right and gets all slushy then it's not for me. -
My knowledge of engines end with the 6NZ, my knowledge of trucks end with 2003 Pete.
All I can contribute is, never a freightshaker. Think resale, or what will the truck be like with 1.5 - 2 million miles on it, if you decide to run it forever (that's when life gets less stressful and more profitable)201, Bean Jr. and Diesel Dave Thank this.
