RIP Watkins Shepard

From the looks of things he got them years before we went public

 

guessing a portion of Dons shares?

 

More likely general diluting

 

I’m not to surprised to hear they shut completely down. Worked for them for a year 7/16-7/17. Started right after they got bought out. Loved working for Watkins before the pumpkin fleet started doing any major changes. Love the company I’m with now. Wish I know about them before applying to Watkins. Still sad to hear them end of the company.

 

I knew it would happen. I enjoyed driving for WS. The crew in Missoula was pretty cool too. I left as soon as the orange devil started major changes. Mainly when I couldn't get maintenance done on the truck properly. Met a few good drivers there. Hope they do well.

 

I was down in Bozeman and I was supposed to start with WS in June. Then Reddaway came along and scooped me up from underneath and gave me a local job. The Zoo town Reddaway barn was just down the road from WS.

 

Can't believe it. I was in line to join Watkins earlier last year (through SNI) and Schneider made it out to be 90% no touch freight.. apparently that wasn't true and now I see I would have been there only 6 months before having to look for another job.. My company has hired a couple of the WS drivers.
To be honest. . Not too impressed with them.
