If I wanted to work a 4 day work week with consistent start times, what industry should I be looking in? Food delivery, ltl, fuel? Thanks!

Education. They are looking into 4 day weeks in some cases. Just not certain about where you are at.

I know I seen some tanker gas jobs like that some are even 3 day work weeks. Ltl is usually 5 days a week. There are 4 day work week jobs but you’ll be working 12-14 hours a day. I wish I remembered the company it said 4 day work week 1150 guaranteed. It was in the Carlisle pa area. They are out there look at indeed.com and type 4 day work week trucking jobs in your area.

There is a food service that offered 3/12’s. I know someone that had that shift. Love it but he wanted more hours.

My company does 4 12 hour days. It's just a dry van company that delivers to one customer.

Point it, there really isn't any good answer as it could be all over the gambit. You just need to ask around in your area. Maybe hit up daycab drivers at a local truckstop for example.

You likely won't find 4-on/3-off weeks, but 4-on/4-off schedules are fairly common in a lot of regional companies, especially tanker.

    --

Personally, I like being a long haul driver that works with a company that brings me home for resets. It means I make more money during the week (a lot of regional work you spend a lot of time commuting that could be spent making money) and I actually get time at home, rather than 14-16 hour work days (including commuting time), with just enough time to shower, eat and sleep while at home.
