As for me, this may be my last post - at least on this thread...It has gotten wayyy of topic... It's more of a B**chfest than an informative thread. In fact over the last few months, many of my post's get rerouted temporarily until 'approved' by a mod. And I'm real careful not to put in any site names or full names of victims(subjects) so it doesn't trip the software. Heck, no one said a thing when I was cutting the company down, but now that I've toned it down...I'm being monitored? Did another trucking company take over management of this site or something and not like the nice-talk about Crete??? Don't know, don't care. Anyway, best to all the current Cretin's. To the future or hopeful Cretin's ...best of luck, you're gona' need it if you come over here!! Let's just say the honeymoon between me and this company is way over. That's all I'll say for fear of hurting any of those sensitive 'management suits' feelings from Lincoln that may take a gander in here again.

Supersnacker... it's not that you are being monitored. We have several IP addresses that keep sending posts to moderation. We get to them as fast as we can. And we have several members who have the same problem. There was one member it caused so many issues for that I would spent an extra hour or two here every night, just so his posts would get approved before morning.

What happened snack...you hit bottom again?
My complaint is all the ppl you have to deal with here (crete) Why cant a driver deal with 1 person and be done with it....Breakdown is a joke, hometime, getting approved for a comcheck then having to call payroll, osd, change fuel stops, ect..ect.. its really a pain..... Also stop complaining about the idel time, either keep us running or put apu on the trucks, get over it,not like i want the truck running while im sleeping anyhow! way to many cheifs for each thing...give us 1 person to deal with.
But i still like it here -
I will give you guys some advice on what seems to work for me. During your trip, when you have a good idea as to what you actual ETA/PTA will be, and how much time available you will have, if any, once you're empty, send a canned msg #15 to communicate that info. This will help those in load planning at your destination, and it should lead to more productivity. It has for me, but then again, the pick up in freight may have more to with my increased productivity over the last three months. Anyways, it won't hurt.RedBeard and Motorhead01 Thank this. -
Now I have to waddle a half mile to the theater to see "Hangover." I almost went to the Ice Age movie, but didn't. I saw Ice Age on TV this week, amazing how great the graphics were.
PS, I caught a golfer getting ready to swing, nobody around me and I blasted the air horn right as he started down on his stroke. I SO need to mount my Nathan train horn, I need to see if they'll let me, I'll need to hang another air tank because it has a 3\4 inch air line. Have fun out here, and if you don't like Crete, Then quit. Again Newbie, good luck tomorrow.luvtheroad Thanks this. -
Basically, anywhere I go, I will have drivers with time under their belt that will feel the same as you do. My goals, my dreams, come before your feelings. As I would guess that your goals will take priority over my desires.
I will call them sometime this week to get my own confirmation, but everything in this tread rates high on my list. My other choice would be Watkins Shepard.
All companies have their positives and negatives. Its the attitude that makes it all work.
I will try to stay out of your way. -
Keep posting here once you get on the truck - would welcome to hear about your time spent.
Keep a good attitude, even when things are wrong, and I am sure you will do fine. (All ways "act as if" things are good.) -

Since the customer who ships a load 2000 miles is the same shipper who will need another load moved 200 miles ,and since you have some drivers who seem to not want anything to do with the 200 miles run ,then there will always be room for one more.
