    Is your evaporator froze up?
Where is your defrost sensor located? Is your drains plugged?

    jsnell Thanks this.

I had issues with the last Evo TK....a defect in the installation caused a refrigerant line to rub, and it eventually rubbed a hole and lost all of the refrigerant. It was a known issue covered by warranty. This was a few years ago, I don't know how old your unit is, but one would think that the newer units would have had the issue resolved from the factory by now

It could be one of several things but here are my two cents worth:

Check the refrigerant line. I had a similar experience,
, except it was the ThermoKing shop who routed the refrigerant line in such a way that it eventually rubbed a hole in the line allowing the refrigerant to leak out and the APU to act as you have stated.

Either way sounds like idle time till you hit the shop.

ENG code is for the engine not the A/C system bleed the air out of the motor on top of the thermostat there is a bleeder valve open it up till anti freeze comes out this is about the only thing other then low oil level with the ENG code

My friend's 2010 Tripac has a problem. He said the tripac starts ok but when a/c compressor turns on the engine drops rpms . About 0.5-1 minute engine runs at very low rpm and then gradually everything goes back to normal. He says this happens when outside is 95F and up. What do you think guys? Overcharged a/c system? He says when it runs normal at 90F gauges show 15psi and 250 psi. Any ideas?

Is that a large plastic fuse? if so and the wire terminates at the alternator thats a 50 amp fuse....mine did the same thing, blade broke off, fuse was melted a bit from poor connection... I cut that fuse holder off with my dremel and got a 50amp circuit breaker from amazon and wired it in.....youll need a short piece of 4 or 6 gauge wire( i forget) and a ring terminal for the alternator end.
