Brand new company that is expanding quickly. They are slowing down on hiring Florida drivers. Call and talk to Amy if you need all the details. 48 state food grade tank company. New equipment.

Brand new company with all the Indian River reject staff.......they are definitely not slowing down on hiring because there's about 10 drivers we know that have left or about to leave

Guaranteed just has poorly spec'd trucks, all automatics, cameras all over it, idle restricted, nanny systems galore. Just the kind the tractors that keep a miserable OTR job miserable.

Do you know this because you work for GTS? Just curious. I see there trucks everywhere. I talked to one driver that works there and said the pay is .48cpm and then a .02cpm "bonus" ever month for all safe miles ran. Why not just pay the driver .50cpm to begin with? .48cpm seems low to me for tanker work.

I was also told you have to give up 4 hours before you start collecting any detention. And that is only $10 per hour.

They have nice looking equipment but that may be about it.

Any updates on this company? Talked to a driver today who used to run for Indian River and another who drives for Oakley, both said they were pretty good, all drop and hook food grade, 50 cpm to start. But $10/hr after 4 hours doesn't sound good, and I'll just say no to a driver-facing camera. Would like to know the skinny if anyone has it.

If it's all drop and hook, why the horrible detention? $10 an hour after 4? How much do they pay for loading, unloading, or just doing the drop and hook?

    MC VanKampen runs through Denver.
Don't know if they use cameras; call and ask.
Trucks run 75 mph. No east coast.

I used to drive for GTS till the first of the year. They have a forward facing camera, but not driver facing. Unless that has recently changed. The cameras on the mirrors on the hood of the truck shoot down the sides of the truck. It was .48 a mile like they stated. Some drop and hook. Did keep me busy and never had a issue getting home, but I do live in Florida. The new trucks they were getting in have APU's, which is nice because some places they load, you are not allowed to idle.
