I believe the start out pay is now $0.47 a mile I've been with these guys a little over one year and I absolutely love them this is one of the best company jobs I've ever had.
Communication skills are absolutely great, I use email to contact my dispatcher they always check the emails faster than the truck computer messages.
They recently installed PeopleNet systems into the equipment and got rid of Rand McNally.
Medical insurance is Cigna they have different plans , I have the top tier plan.
I pay $96 a week for me and my spouse, that's with a $1,500 yearly deductible. They also have dental and eye coverage, and they provide life insurance based on what you make if you make 70k yearly they match it and give you 70k in life insurance free, you can increase it if you want.
They also provide free long-term and short-term disability insurance.
Their equipment is impeccable and we're constantly going to the same customers so the routes are very easy on the driver.
I would say 84% of our freight is actually pre-loaded drop and hook.
We have detention pay after the first 30 minutes, you get paid $21 an hour.
There's just too many good things to say about this company.
I'm sure that if you pick hard enough you'll be able to find something wrong everywhere.
My average miles weekly or about 2600 about every 3 weeks I do a 2900 week.
They also have bonus programs in place and many more great things you need to call them if you're tired of dealing with other companies that make promises but don't deliver Screenshot_2019-04-23-14-33-31-1.png

Do you drive local or regional? Which terminal are you driving from? I applied for a position in Charlotte but could never get in touch with the recruiter (due to issues with their phone & e-mail). Do you know if they're hiring now and do you get a referral bonus?

How often does a OTR driver get home? Is there a terminal in the Chicago area?

As for hometime, out 7-8 days and get a 34 at home. Out 10 days and get 2 full days. I usually stay out 2-3 weeks and take 3 days at home.
