A 6 month low mileage policy may prove to be problemetic.
If you are running your own authority you will be required to keep insurance year round or reinstate it every year, the start up insurance costs will always be out of sight.
I know of no companies that offer low mileage, It is cheaper to get a 150, 100 or even 150 mile radius limit of home base, if you do not plan to get over 150 miles from home much. I think they told me they allowed 5 trips a year out of the area on a deal I checked on like this.
My first truck was a dump truck in Texas, I had unlimited miles , but it specifically stated no Harris county, or I had to pay a premium.SL3406 Thanks this. -
Older thread I know But I was searching for insurance company's to call for a quote Progressive will not insure a new authority from California. Just California only state where they have a requirement of 1 yr old. I have a lead on a local insurer and waiting on ooida to call me back

Whats the Return?? If its your typical $2500-$4000 per week revenues- Not worth it-
Now,I assume hauling cars generates $5-$7k per week if not more, (I could be wrong) ..Thats said A $20k premium per year isn't out of line....Your Profits will surely support that. -
I was getting $27k a year quotes early in the morning, by late afternoon I was down to $14,060. Shop around.
