Where is everyone #5

Checked the L.A. traffic on Sirius/XM ... new fire along I-5 and the truck connector to 14 (south bound), also both north and south truck lanes to 210 are closed. Everything else seems back to normal...so...I-5 to 138 and 210 to 71 into Chino would be my call.
Got into Portland 2330, have my preload to Rancho Cucamonga....first stop will be home to load up a cord of oak for my #3 son. Guess it's getting a bit of a chill over in Sparks....or he got a good dose of frost killing ducks the past few weekends ... he is getting on in years, payback time for me, now he is finding out about age and temperature variations.....GOOD TIMES!!!

 

My wife sent me this, think she's trying to tell me something?

 

I have my Bible with me in the truck....dear little wife keeps mentioning that there are words printed on the pages between the front and back cover. Now what could she be hinting at?

 

Uncle Bill - very religious man. Carried a Bible with him at all times, a small version that fit in his left breast pocket.

It’s an adjustable jig/clamp with a step bit, sets up about a 10 degree angle for joining timber. Adjusts for different thickness wood.

I was impressed with the strength of joins without using biscuits and glue/clamps.

The screws are a bit pricey, not bad in bulk. Makes quick work of projects.

 

Just watched the news, ALL the freeways are open. There is traffic at the 5 merge in the Newhall pass as usual. The winds are calm to light breeze so there should be good progress on the fires today.
