The reason my wife and I are staying in California for the time being is because we are part of the class that is benefiting from their socialist policies. We have great great pay, great benefits, with great retirements. Because of the states insane environmental policies and regulations, our property value is ridiculously high and we know that there’s a sucker born every minute who will buy our house for an insane amount.
When it’s time to retire, believe me, we will be taking our money and run far away. We will sit back and enjoy the show.

You know there's a HUGE outcry over this from the non transportation sectors.

All of them are bad too. Bad. Evil.

Trust me there are plenty that are older than 2007, they call it a drop yard and switch. I'm down near Long beach and LA ports daily.

They came in on the back end it was a big issue about how the port driver (owner operator) were being taken advantage of. I do believe FedEx ground was sued in California a while back for there owner operator business model as to why they changed their owner operator model. I believe fedex didn't have to payout but they changed the way they did business.

Yes I remember that segment. I understand sometimes in certain areas work is hard to find but signing up for thoses deals were crazy. It would have been better just to get a regular job.
