Yes lesson learned for sure. Had no idea they were so strict with a speeding ticket. I’ve heard of companies that hire people with 1 accident or a past dui lol

Pretty obvious - don't exceed the speed limit. In any vehicle.
I learned how devastating speeding offences are to a CDL career by watching others.
Apparently the statistics back this - speeding eventually leads to accidents.
Drive 5 under in your personal vehicle, observe speed limit changes. Your CDL career won't last too long consistently pushing boundaries.

It hasn't been 2 months yet and you may be able to get it reduced. Talk to the court and maybe write a letter to the judge and they may allow traffic school to keep it off of your record. My daughter did the same thing after 4 months in Oregon. Explain to the judge that you want to get a CDL for a career change and he may even dismiss it.
