My job pays a minimum of 62K per yr & is the easiest trucking job I have ever had. I slipseat with another driver.
Since I keep my cab squared away they put females in the seat after me. I have had 4 female drivers in my truck on the other shift in 21 mos all gone within months of hire. Why? Because they're not dependable. Always can't work or need to leave early for some reason. 1 after 2 wks took a wk off, another never worked a full week & would always get sick on a friday or monday. Another had back pain & wrist pain & leg pain etc.. & we don't fingerprint loads. This is just my experience in trucking is that they always have issues with being around to work.
Currently we have no females out of 19 drivers because I think the owner wants people who show up for work when he has contracts to fulfill.
If the OP was taken her 34 at home she still would of found an excuse to give us for not running. I'm sure there's great female truck drivers out there, but I've never seen one.

Not sure what IC is, to be honest, is that the O/O or just contractors what the actual income after expense I know my uncle used to rake in 186k on a bad year and that was years ago, and if he decided to go out the US he made double that and half the time too also because it was overseas he never had to pay taxes on his income. I have seen his pay was impressive he said the best pay is out of America but theres added risk in some the areas.
