'13 Cascadia Lights Flashing While Parked

First I have to say I do not know what it could be but maybe a little more info may help.
You said just "cab" and not the trailer too right? Did you look at the back of the trailer to make sure?
What type trailer ie: refer/dry van/flat and who makes it?
I take it it has an ABS light out back and did you disconnect the elect. light plug from the trailer to see if the lights stopped blinking?

Why all the questions about the trailer you ask I wonder if you are getting a back feed from it to the cab and why I asked about pulling the light plug.
Next time if it happens see if you can find the breaker that is tripping to see what else is on that circuit so you can look into that for the back feed.

Don't some of these new trucks flash the lights if the driver forgets the set the parking brake and shuts off the truck? Maybe it's something related to that.

 

We had the same truck where the interior map lights above the driver could not be turned off - had to unhook the entire cluster till we returned to the shop.

Several trucks started doing it. Turned out to be n ECM setting fault . . . .

Wierd. Give it to the shop and see what they find - Good luck.

Got a good one for you guys with Cascadias ,this happen to one of my drivers on our 2012 cascadia ,driver went to shower an clean up ,truck was perfect ,came back and all lites flashing without the flasher been on also the cruise would not accelerate the engine ,well he went crazy trying to figure out till about 3 am and then gave up, at 5 am the Military truck next to him that park after he went to shower left , and all problems disappear !
the driver called one of his body's that work at a frighteliner dealer and he told him about the same problem with a government truck inside the shop that made another truck go crazy,,SO IF ANY ONE OUT THERE HAVE THIS PROBLEM CHECK YOUR SURROUNDINGS FOR ANY TYPE OF GOVERNMENT TRUCKS .

 

Have you or anyone else found the cause of this? I have a 2013 Cascadia too and it does this intermittently. Only difference is my trailer turn signal side lights & tail lights do it with my truck tail lights & also the trailer front corner amber lights flash with them too. When I turn on my hazards a different clicking sound happens under the dash compared to the clicking it makes with this odd behavior. Tia!

Because your description includes trailer light issues I would lean more towards a bad Sam chassis module as opposed to a Sam cab module. Same reason. Water. Take cover off and pull relays and fuses out. I bet you will see much corrosion.

 

The "Light Test" switch. You probably pressed it accidentally. I just went through the same thing,couldn't figure out what's going on. Somehow it stopped. Then happened again and I'm press buttons trying to see if anything wod change and found the Light test switch is that makes it flash Lights like that. Hope this helps
