Like I’m out of bed still tired at 3am. I’m driving down the highway going 65 and then a slight downhill that looks flat coNew along and bam I’m going 70+ without realizing it because I think I’m on flat ground and I’m tired and it’s dark out

I understand. If you got a good job you got to just slow it down.

The thing that really gets me tho is I go home like never I have no life this is my life I’m a slave to the company basically. They should appreciate us instead of micro managing and best part the company’s motto is built by drivers for drivers and do t get me wrong they do a great job at everything except these little speed differences like install a buzzer I have a buzzer for lane control why not speed

    Concorde Thanks this.

Suspension = time off with no pay. It's not a good idea to admit in public you were so tired you didn't realize or control your truck's speed.

That's why you research a company BEFORE you volunteer to work for them. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO CHANGE A COMPANY, no matter how many heart attacks, divorces, etc you have while working for them. Find a company that fits you or change you to fit the company where you are at.

Honestly, you are a hazard. Just by reading a few posts I can recognize the type of driver you are. And I would rather not cross paths with you.

What posts? I’m a hazard that’s a bit extreme. I consider myself safer than a lot of other truckers. You should see some of the #### they do but they probably don’t have micro managers.

What the company does to you will depend a lot on your attitude when they call you in.
If you realize what you've done wrong, don't try to shift the blame, and let them know that you'll try to remedy your mistakes, they might keep you.
You don't have to grovel and you don't have to beg but be polite.
They don't want to fire you but if you give them a lot of reasons to, they will.

Change companies with trucks that cruise on 70 or 75.
