@stayinback You ever seen the movie “Streets of Fire”?
That’s the one I was telling @otterinthewater about with the soap factory in CA. Apparently a bunch of it was shot in Chicago too. Check it out someday and see if you recognize anything, like the Michigan Ave bridge.

Of all the songs throughout the years, I heard one today that I hadn’t heard in years, but it always makes me stop and listen, and forget everything troubling for a moment, I don’t know why but maybe it’ll work for you guys too.RidgeRunner731, Cattleman84, thelushlarry and 7 others Thank this. -
If you watched smokey and bandit a little bit there were quite a few scenes shot in Arkansas west of the Jonesboro area where you could get a semi get up and run a little bit movie style as they did. The lawman was more than accommodating. Certain specific locations shot for scenes are still with us today Some with moderation and others as they were.
There was a movie that stumped me in reference to location called Convoy I think with Kris the star in the 70's a Lady overturned her Mack and I was never able to locate that particular junction. It must have been pretty far off what we use today in our routing then.WesternPlains, lovesthedrive and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
