Its la, not the valley in Texas. The cost of living in la is so high there isn't anything left to send to the family in Mexico.

Maybe this one of the reason Mercer is getting out of CA. AB5 if it passes. You can no longer lease purchase a truck in CA, -
What they are doing is suspending signing on contracts based in California, the same thing landstar and every other single trucking company in the United states is doing. Basically it's giving the lawyers time to figure things out and to let the politics play out. And yes AB5 is the reason and every one knows that. Also it's a lot more intrusive into trucking than simply lease purchase trucks. Mercer doesn't even do or ever has done lease purchase trucks.Big John Classic HQ Thanks this. -
