Maybe I'm a fool, but I currently have the funds, & I'm going to go through with the repair. Looking now for new cam, but may be stuck with reman because lack of availability of new.?

Doing cam, followers, rollers, updated adjusters, & retainers, bearings. Maybe I'm forgetting something.? Forgot to take a pic this AM of the old style adjusters & clips but I'll go back & get one. Like y'all to see them. Pretty wild they may be 20years old!!


@Tug Toy ,this is in no way disrespect of your advice, & if I could preform the work myself I'd button her up & roll. Now that I know there is a problem in there, I will have no peace of mind knowing it "could" be getting worse. If I were as handy as you, I'd just open in back up in a month to see if it were getting worse & go from there. But, this is not currently an option for me given I can not perform the work myself.. They said they will stand behind me for 1 year, no mileage limit. So there's that I guess..

 

Welp we are back roading today
