To me hes owed detention from the time his 1.5hrs was up until his 1st 10 hr break would started. Then 10 hr break unpaid then when its over layover should start. So about 9hrs of detention and at least 1 day of layover pay.

 

And honestly for as well as you seemed to handle it they could throw you a few extra. Cuz I'm telling ya you handled it much much much much better than I would've.

 

Ugh, Opie tried but no freight today...so now my schedule is getting flipped after spending much if this week starting at 1-3 in the morning. Tomorrow won't get going until 9.

 

No doubt.. The Customer should also be hit with one heck of a bill

 

It’s been 3 weeks or so since I have had an am appt. I have 7 pm delivery at Midwest tomorrow and 8 pm pick up at blues city. Hasn’t been horrible just have to make some minor adjustments.

They just told me to do it, today when I picked up this load. So that’s cool. Other than going to Cartersville.

Saw some of the brand spankin new Millis trucks in Trenton today. Seems Heartland has left their mark on them..

 

I saw one in BRF today down at the trailer shop. No side doors/windows on the sleeper.
