    Hell it's just what ever works for you at the time if otr ain't working toss the bucket . Guy from line haul all the way to concert haulers have something to ##### about. It's really a matter of what poison taste better .

    What it seems to you and what reality is are 2 completely different things as you have shown in this thread. I have done well for myself in the 25 years I've been in this game considering I started with absolutely nothing.

    Point being, with time invested, or risk, or other variables, the pay should increase. And well is relative indeed, but for 25 years, what did you miss out on?

    In truth I always pity the driver with millions of miles because that means thousands of days missed with loved ones, for an average of about 5$ an hour.

    Can you answer me this: Why this attitude? I don't understand it at all. I don't get this OTR bashing. The pay? It is what is. It's easy money. We drive. Come on man, enjoy the highways and by ways. Have some bad truck stop food, get you a lot lizard, maybe get a beer or 5, get in on the entertainment of drivers struggling to back up at the truck stop, make some friends out here. It's really not so bad, i promise. Lol
