Hi. I am trying to find out the size of the DOT tub and the size of the air fitting that would fit into these three ports. One tank is the front one and the other the rear tank. Does anyone know the size of these three items? Thanks for your help! air tank2.jpg airtank1.jpg

It is hard to say just looking at the picture, but I am thinking the air line sizes are 5/8 on the black one and 1/2 on the green one, tank fittings will either be 3/8 pipe or possibly 1/2 pipe.

What I personally do is take a picture of it and show it to the parts guy at the dealer along with the last six of my vin. If you’re trying to buy a generic fitting, you would want to take it off, and take it with you.

    hahaha Cascadia started leaking ))))
I have changed all of them. The thread on air tank is 1/2 NPT. Tube sizes are different. 5/8, 1/2, 3/8,... measure diameters before buying the fittings
I have Installed Velvac DOT brass compression fittings on air tanks.

Don’t feel bad, my Kenworth is the same.

yes men. Freightliner is using that crape push and lock fittings made by SMC Pneumatics. They start leaking after 3-4 years....
