CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

To everyone from CFI,

I just want to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of the drivers at CFI. I totally enjoy reading all of your posts and exploits. Even though I do not work for CFI, my son did a few years ago and I am a retired Conway driver of 12 years. I hope that you all are safe and hopefully made it home with your families.

 

Thanks Pop and right back at ya. I'm doing the heavy lifting while everyone else is home. I'll be home Monday if all goes well.

He just likes to whine. I am sure this is your first experience with a whiny trucker, but once you've been a trucker for two days you realize that they are quite common.

I'm guessing that his dispatcher must have really wanted him to quit.

 

Just study up for the drug test.

Happy Turkey Day trucker style:

 

Pick up in Tuscaloosaspent 4 hours looking for an empty, finally bobtailed.

Loaded trailer has air leak at the gladhand. 2 hours to fix. Had to relay the load in Atlanta. 45 minutes left on my clock.

Preplan for Orlando tomorrow night...Rooster is doing the happy dance in my truck.

 

I need to get some wrenches. I’m about fed up with waiting for road service. I paid through the nose for a glad hand to air line assemblies to cut down on my wait times.
