Had a good time in Paradise this last week. Can't believe those 7 days felt like an instant... Back on the road on the 11th...

.my engine is needing an overhead, clogged artery and a bad Aortic valve ... Goona be here a while and test out just how good my blue Cross blue shield ppo insurance really is ...

Nurses are great ... Doctors not as much ... On a low fat / low sugar cardiac diet plan so that food kinda sucks bad ...

 

Also have an acting up liver and fluid buildup in my lungs still...

 

Dang Paul, sorry to hear that. Hope they get you fixed up soon!

 

Are they going to replace the valve? Hopefully they can put in your new parts without opening up your chest. Had open heart surgery in 2007. They put me on a diabetic diet for a few days in the hospital. You’re sooo right about crappy food!! Get well soon.

 

Not sure yet ... They want to do a cardiac Cath and if they can do a stent for the artery ,then there is a chance to do a minimally invasive 3"" cut on the left ribs ,which would be a lot shorter recovery time as they wouldn't open you up

If they’re going to replace the valve, start thinking about which way to go, mechanical or pig valve. I went mechanical even though it means being on blood thinners. The mechanical lasts much longer.
