Nanny aids, "critical events"...lol, just ignore that nonsense. You're with a trainer so just pay attention to what he tells you. Next time, man up and finish your drive..if you got stressed pull into a TS and grab a Latte :)

Seriously, I'm sure your company probably gets a million of those "critical events" per day and likely ignores 99.9% of them..Besides they know you are new and with a trainer..

Roll your sleeves up, slam your seat to the floor and roll..coffee in one hand and a cig in the other :)

    TE - “Trucker Excrement” ?

Just drive safely - don’t fret the micro management.

How does the company know and why would they be critical?

I don't see the big deal.

It's not like something was hit.

So you stopped hard and turned a little fast? If the trainer said you are doing fine then everything is okay.

As stated above. You are OK. The mega carriers need you too bad to do anything but say "naughty boy, don't do that anymore." All drivers have those perceived "critical events". And those that say they don't....well, they tend to forget facts often.

    Concorde and Mototom Thank this.

This kinda stuff is why I’m going to small a smaller company. I don’t want an electronic baby sitter in my truck.
I was joking with the owner “I reserve the right to use the breaks as hard and often as I feel necessary” he laughed and said as long as he didn’t have to replace tires or cargo it’d be alright.

Critical Events.... HA... Just showing up on time is a critical event with me. //extremesnarky

Seriously I rather run for a outlaw outfit than work for one who lies awake at night adding up those who have a little trouble getting her to stop here now and then.

Well I was close to saying I didn’t do anything wrong after driving 8 hours today, but at the very end I messed up pretty bad when there was this two lane left turn, I was in the inner left lane and I was supposed to stay close to the right line, but I crossed it and cut someone off who had to go over onto the shoulder; I feel pretty bad about that as well, it was my first time not being in the outer lane.

    Coffey Thanks this.
