What if it Snows?

It’s much better. The doc finally found a solution and it has stopped swelling up. It’s still an option for sure. I am finishing up HVAC school now and I’ll see if I can find anything in that field. I am having a really hard time just landing interviews. I had my resume spruced up, but I am getting the feeling companies want young and cheap. They most likely don’t think I can change careers after working with kids for soo long. It’s been a really depressing process. I don’t know what direction to go in. I am just thankful I have a job because if I was out of work, this would be ridiculous. If I was messing up interviews I would blame myself, but I can’t even get one!!!

 

Check with hospitals, my cousin got a job keeping their central heat/air units up, he got a full time job right out of hvac school doing that, he also works weekends or the public, installing new units

 

I need to find a place that will train me. That’s the part I am having a hard time with. I keep digging and digging

Are the companies attempting to tell you the guys working for them don't act like a bunch of juveniles?

Maybe sell them on the fact that you have successfully dealt with most of the children and their parents so neither the crew nor the customers should be a problem.

 

I have no clue anymore. I have no gaps in employment since I was 16 years old. I am educated and I have been in various fields with no issues. I have simplified my resume so I don’t scare them off and I am still scaring them away. I am absolutely dumbfounded to be honest.

 

I know if I can catch the boss or someone other then an HR employee I can sell myself, but I can’t get past the internet or the secretary at the front desk.

Not accusations just throwing out a check list.

Any connections to the facilities departments at the hotels?

Local trade hiring halls?

Job placement group at the school?

Have you looked for local authorized install and repair places for the different Manufacturers?

 

It's Indiana and probably safer for the rest of the world that way.
