Things to have when going solo

You live in Alaska and are therefore a polar bear. You probably have silicone running through your veins.

My pajama suggestion was for wearing underneath jeans. No one would know that he's wearing them. It's just for an extra layer of clothing. lol

Your overpant suggestion with the zippers is definitely worth considering. The only thing there is most of the time if the OP is driving down here in the lower 48 he probably wouldn't need those very often at all. If the OP invested $5 in a pair of pajama pants, he could also at least sleep in them.

I did not always live in Alaska, but I literally have hated long johns or any other thing that I have to undress to get rid of when I get warm.
I always preffered, bibs, overalls and best the overall pants I am talking about, no problem to pull them off when needed.

 

I know, I'm just yanking your chain. You used to be a Texan and that makes you stellar in my book. And you have also mastered the hot and humid with the extreme cold and dry climates.

 

I may have mastered the hot and humid when I was young and just didn't know any better, but can not take it any more. lol The last time I was in Tx was a couple of years ago in december, even too hot then for me, and I was in the hill country, where humidity at the time was not bad. lol

 

I tried hot and dry, lived hear Las Vegas and Henderson in Mesquite NV and I got the worst bloody noses ever in my life. The ones I couldn't stop from bleeding. I would have blood dripping all over my sink, bathroom floor and be short a full roll of toilet paper.

I like it so humid the windows fog up and you cant see out of them! At least I wont be wasting hours of my life trying to shove toilet paper up my nose.

 

LOL I never had that trouble, but there is such a thing as too hot and vegas is right in the middle of it. lol
I worked in Az a couple of summers, and that was bad enough, I would not even try the vegas area, though I did do a job one summer up north a ways at tenopah or something like that, it was not terrible.

 

Las Vegas is hot ,but at least there is usually a slight breeze.

Not so much in Phoenix or Yuma.

Potato chips are always crunchy in the dry states, even if you don't get the bag closed up tight.

 

When I had to do pick ups in Pheonix during the summer I had a hard time keeping my reefer cold enough to accept the product. Couple of times I had to sit there until the sun went down. Now that it's cold out I usually get sent to NY and Michigan. Lol.
