Tax exempt in PA forms

    I am tax-exempt with my motor carrier Authority.

    I have a few parts places that are giving me a headache with what forms I need to be tax exempt. I thought they would just have a form that I fill out but apparently it's not working that way.

    Does anyone know what forms I would fill out from the state that I can just give these characters so that I'm tax exempt?

    I've always used the form roshea linked to and never had an issue. Many, if not most of the vendors I've used even have a stack of them you can fill out when you're there, but I typically bring one in myself when planning on setting up a tax exempt account.
