Usually when the flex pipe fails before the after treatment you get NOx related faults also.

    SAR Thanks this.

There was particulate trap error but when I tried to do parked regen it went away. In hoping with new pipe it'll complete regen and should be good to drive

If you're getting lots of smoke at the flex pipe. Then your DPF may be plugged or melted.
Hopefully it is just the leak.

Well it went through regen. I still have code for exhaust leak but they don't have way to delete it

Please specify truck and engine type.

I would guess you have a fault related to exhaust gas pressure or exhaust back pressure. You fixed a problem with the flex pipe leak, but not the problem for the fault code. Get hooked up and get some fault code information.

Exhuast gas pressure fault does not mean an exhaust leak. Could be a exhaust gas pressure sensor issue or a dpf pressure sensor fault.
Still needs to get hooked up

SAR, AModelCat, mitmaks and 3 others Thank this.

Will have local tech hook up his laptop see what's up. Like I said they installed new pipe and was able perform parked regen. I drove 200+ miles and good so far.

    Wheeljack and uncleal13 Thank this.
