The good news is there are jobs like that.

The bad news is that there are never any openings because people stay there until they retire or die.

Bud A., InTooDeep, Rugerfan and 4 others Thank this.

And, we don’t work when it’s raining, cloudy, or if we’re tired, or just not interested in working that day. Don’t forget that!

Bud A. and Bumper Thank this.

If I could find the benefits for that cheap, I’d be there.

Hey Tanker_82, how are things going? I couldn't stay out of the truck. I started driving for a small reefer company based out of Amarillo. I considered going back to IRT or GTS, but I didn't want to be gone weeks at a time anymore. The company I went to do all of the Publix in Florida. Hometime every other weekend with passes thru the house I between. Looks like IRT is still treating you good. Safe travels.

    Tanker_82 Thanks this.

I’m only at $820 this week, but only worked 20 hours (Monday & Today). That doesn’t count the two paid holidays, however.

Bud A. and 88 Alpha Thank this.

$41.00 an hour is not a bad wage at all, especially in these times. You better keep ahold of that job, there are not too many of them around in this business.

I lucked into this job. NO ONE here EVER quits. Boss man decided to add a truck. He doesn’t advertise. I was just at the right place, right time.

I'm sure dressing dapper in that black cape helped!
