I came up to a roundabout and the GPS was telling me to make a turn down a road. I started turning down the road, but stopped immediately when I saw "no trucks". I put my flashers on, got out to see if anyone was behind me, then blew my horn while backing. That's when a police car flashed it's lights. He told me I did two things wrong. Going down a road that said no trucks and backing up. I told him I didn't pass the sign that said no trucks.
He then asked for my license, looked at my license plate on the front., got on his walkie talkie and started calling out the license plate, then went back to his vehicle.
About 20 minutes later, he gives me back my license and tells me theres two ways out. The way I was supposed to go or the way I was backing out of. He then told me to follow him and started driving through the "no trucks" road.
He then pulled over, pointed me in the direction I had to go and that was that.
Is there any chance I will get a ticket in the mail?
Didn't want to ask him, but didn't want to chance it.
Just got pulled over, but did I or didn't I get a ticket?

i think you got a very kind and easygoing LEO! I say no ticket. but that's my undereducated, non-professional guess.

A ticket would involve paperwork that you have to sign when in contact with a LEO. Even a no ticket or no violation situation, like a roadside inspection, you are handed a sheet of paper with the relevant info on it. If you were not handed paperwork to sign, you didn't get a ticket. Then again, with things being the way they are now....!!

Consider urself lucky. If it was me i wouldve taken the gamble on the no truck road and got to the nearest main street that looked like it went back the other way , while pulling up gps to figure out how to get around. Usually the street ur looking for will have a stoplight at it . I have been on my fair share of no truck roads and they are always much safer then trying to back up or turn around where u came from. Just look out for low bridges and weight limit bridges . Also look out for any leos on that road. Make it look like u know what ur doing. Half the time they wouldnt know the differenece unless ur really out of place and make it known like trying to back up into a street where u just came from. Another thing u could do is pull up right beside the no trucks sign so its about halfway Between ur truck and trailer. Pull breaks put 4 ways on and figure out how to get around the block. The reason u park halfway on it is because it blocks the sign from any johnny be gooders from calling u in and if a cop does come they will have to know this road is restricted without seeing the sign. I ve been lost so many times and turn down wrong roads so many times it is 2nd nature anymore. Good luck to u driver
