    Recruiter is interested in giving me an interview and I kinda wanted to get the skinny on USF Holland. I worked for USF Reddaway in the past, but our barn was run completely backwards from what a usual barn should be, so I can't measure their corporate climate fairly.

    So quick questions, and feel free to omit your terminal, but I am applying in the south.

    1. Average City driver starting wage annually?
    2. Set start time?
    3. Rules on OT?
    4 Do you get treated fair?
    5 Average weekly hours?
    6. Something that sticks out that you don't like?
    9. Any personal or professional opinion I should consider.

    Thanks for any and all feedback!

    I'd have an additional question if I interviewed;

    10. "There's no *(^*&ing way you'd hire a TM that used to work for Reddaway in Montana, correct?"

    Just started at Holland , it's kind've tense right now with the new contract , the old timers are pretty ticked off about not getting their %15 consessions back

    As a casual ( like me) you are pretty much a grunt until you get some your time in , $19.51 an hr until you get your letter , then it goes up to $23.28

    6 days a week , OT after 8 , full healthcare coverage free , after one yr.
    you get 5 paid sick days and 5 paid vacation days off

    You gotta work your way up from the bottom in order to bid on runs & start times , $4 dollar raise over the next 5 yrs per new contract

    To be honest , I'm not sure if they are playing me against the old drivers but I'm after the the free healthcare package , so i will claw my way through the BS and NOTE take sides on neither. , it's almost looks like a labor dispute is on the Horizon , hopefully not because i will bail on this project instead of getting involed in it

    I call it how i see it : no sugar , no spice

    Fuelinmyveins and road_runner Thank this.
