Why take it out? It's what, a $75 dollar microwave, and will be several years old when you are done with the truck. If prying it out of the hole will be that hard, screw it, leave it for the next driver.

I was able to wedge a full size 1100 watt microwave on my cubby. Run it off a 3k watt inverte . I'll post a pic when I get back in the truck. Cost me $80 at walmart

By the way, damaged microwave doors can leak more radiation than they’re supposed to, so we truckers, especially, need to check the doors to ensure it still seals properly.

I turned in that truck over a year ago and removing the microwave was easier than getting it in. Opening the door seemed to help.PE_T Thanks this.
