Another local company started to offer a new package to o/o. $200 per month and they will do all the edits. Their own drivers already are using it.
The app is different from the one I posted about in the first post

The way to go around ELD is not complicated at all. You need server, edit original ELD provider config file to send data to new database. Edit it as you want and drive 26 hours a day.

in posted Doc1 file column J and K are longitude and latitude. This Garmin ELD does not have accurate GPS. If you drive less than 5mph about mile it will not change numbers in J and K column...

So the official guidance by fmcsa is wrong? I highly doubt any court would agree with that.

It's not like PC where there is a ton of gray area. It's fairly black and white in both guidance and regulation.

The ELD it's not about the hours you work it's about dignity. Moving truck for few second put you on "Drive" This is a slavery and awful treatment to the only one group of workers, Truck Drivers. What's wrong to move my truck few feets without fear that I will start my day. Another issue is safety, the government push to the limits, creating dangerous road situations. I never seen truck drivers rushing on the roads to get for appointments, the ELD, the border crossing, the constructions delays are not helping

If you are only moving it "a few feet" you'll never get up to the 5 mph threshold.
If you are moving to a new spot you can pc.
If you are actually working by say moving from staging to a door. Well the reason we have ELD's now is all the fraud associated with paper logs.

It's really to ensure the truck has its proper rest.

5mph is the maximum speed you can go before the ELD is REQUIRED to put you on the drive line. Companies can set a tighter requirement.

Very true. But then the gripe is with the company, not the ELD law.
