As an observer of all the different outfits that run these highways in NJ, I just wanted to say TMC has got to be one of the best. Equipment always looks top notch and their drivers dont appear to be slobs or people who dont take pride in their work. The only other rigs that I see looking as well kept as TMC's are those that are owner operator. For a mega, I'd have to say TMC is #1. From my research into them and from what I've seen, why anyone would go to swift (or similar) over TMC as a new driver is beyond me.
Shout Out to TMC

TMC Transportation - Des Moines, IA - Company Review
@Chinatown, check these guys out.
Paid training and nice equipment. -
Coworker used to drive for The Marine Corp said they’re strict on keeping your truck cleaned as well as the appearance of the drivers (don’t know how true that is seen a few of their drivers looking a little unkempt) said it was a good learning experience but said after a while it got to be a little tiresome
GoldenLad and Aamcotrans Thank this. -
Heck I've been driving 23 years and I've been looking at them. I've been running local since 2013 but I'm getting the itch to get back out there. I miss the waking up in a different town every morning. TMC is definitely one of my top 3 choices. I Especially like that they pay percentage. I always made good money on percentage.

Saw one watching tv while he was driving the other day. Had his phone or tablet sitting up on the dash rolling down US-35 in Ohio

Yeah until u get stuck behind them in a steel mill waiting to get loaded while they throw every single chain and tarp inside blocking up the line. Because "its company policy" . Even know the sign says throw 2 chains then move outside to finish, not to mention that is just common courtesy. Even better when they are in every bay side by side. Then they run rolling road blocks on the road just like prime. They truck looks clean cuz they required to keep them that way. They are a great place to start for flatbed but to say they the best on the road that is just ignorant and funny to me
