Highway cameras show icing developing towards I-30 Hope and Texas Line.

Fort Smith blowing snow as is Fayetteville. Nothing too difficult.

LZK radar shows a nice solid north south front marching east it will reach little rock sometime before lunch.

Mainly 30's give or take a few degrees across board.

Group reply, “That is false, A DM should be available anytime, on any day or night a driver has to work.
Say theres a major issue. Youre on the night shift.
You ran all night, now out of hours, legally thats work so you’d have to be parked all day, all that night, just to legally talk to her the next day!” Then end the reply with “Welcome to the wonderful world of trucking in the year 2020!”

It’s like where I used to work, they’d want you sitting in the middle of the road on Chelsea in Memphis,Tn waiting an hour before they show up so you could unload first.
Then after your empty you get the “We’re working on something, Call us back in an hour.”

Yep. Woke up to a dusting of snow. Sleeting pretty good right now, supposed to change over to freezing rain then to all rain by noon.
Wife just said it back to snow now. High of 37 today.

    Tis the season.

Well the catastrophe is over for another year.

The problem with our areas. There is a annual visitor that shows up in the spring for about 30 years now and leaves in the fall. This person is a cat lover and will adopt a cat for the 6 months they are here. Then will abandon the cats to what was once the town dump. During the time the dump was open the custodian each year would get what ever cat and give it a home. At one point the custiodian had 17 cats he was taking care of. He has since moved on as the dump closed some time ago. Alas the former house cats still show up on our pet friendly porch for food and shelter. We caught this last one with a have a heart trap. A very beautiful yet un nuetered morris type orange tiger. Un nuetered because it was spraying our porch making our cats nervous. So now the cat is on its way to the SPCA where it will get fostered and then a new loving home.

We would like it if we could stop the tourist as they dont seem to grasp at what they are doing as wrong. Sigh, so it is left to us locals to man up for the idiot.
