Definatly good if you don't have a boost gauge or instant mpg. Plenty of other features I forget about.

I should have said it has both instant and ave mpg.

Wish I could help more but its been sitting in my garage for 2 years. So I forget what it will do.

I used one and found it useful. When you get it it does take a while to set up as you need to write down a load of numbers it recognizes in the ecm and then fax the list to the manufacturer. They then send another list of numbers back that you enter into the machine and it sets it up to give you about 30 different readings. I didnt find the fuel consumption or horsepower readings much use but there were loads that were.
blairandgretchen and bzinger Thank this. -
I like mine and find it useful. Reading the fault codes with it is a joke though, they are in a format only scangauge can read and you have to call them to find out what it is

I use one - pretty handy.
I learned the boost guage won’t read more than 30 on my DDEC 3, apparently that’s the maximum value the ECM reads. The manual guage will show 36-39 full boost.
Handy gadget. It will clear codes, but like said, the codes aren’t useful.
Do the PIDS capture and send them in for more readouts.
